Golden Age Cinema

Sorry I missed you guys last week! I had a chance to check out the Golden Age Cinema in Surry Hills over the weekend. It's now definitely on my list of favourite cinemas so decided to share it with you guys.
Golden Age Cinema brings together the past, present and future to create a unique environment for people to watch films, enjoy a drink or host an event.
If you've ever walked past the stunning Art-deco Paramount film building on Commonwealth Street in Surry Hills and marveled over the building's history...then this cinema is definitely worth a visit.

It was once the offices of Paramount Pictures and the cinema was the basement theater for the cinema owners to preview upcoming movies. The space itself was even used in World War II by the military for the screening of news reels and informational films. If that in itself is not enticing enough to checkout the space, the boutique cinemas screens both film classics and new releases.

Grab a fine wine, beer or cocktail from the bar and enjoy some cinema snacks that are paired to the film you're watching by the chef himself. If you're looking for the perfect venue to host a special event, this versatile venue is also the perfect environment for you.

I've attached below some of the movies Golden Age will screening over the next few days. Go check them out and let me know what you think!
